Happy New Year and Happy Feast day of the Solemnity of our Mother Mary! As today's gospel says, "She treasures all these things and pondered them in her heart". Mary shows us how we too can let God's presence enter our hearts and minds, surrendering to His will. Entering into 2020, let us not begin by worrying and fearing the future, but allowing our loving Father to ask something new of us. Let us give thanks for a new year and continue to thank him for each new day! Listen to Him, for His plans are greater than our human mind can ever imagine.
During mass at Sacred Heart church this morning, Fr John led us to pray together the first reading, Numbers 6:24-26: "May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord let his face shine on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord uncover his face and bring you peace".
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us. Amen.
Thank you to all those who have prayed for our young adults community and supported us in various ways. It has been such a blessed 2019! Together by the grace of God we have borne such wonderful fruits and pray to continue so by His will. Wishing everyone joy, peace, good health, happiness and great love.
