Ministry Team

There are many opportunities to help in our various Mass's and something that may suit you

• Commentators – welcoming everyone at the start of Mass and reading the intercession

• Lectors – reading the 1st  & 2nd  reading of the day.

• Eucharist ministers – distributing the bread and wine

• Musicians and singers – leading the community’s prayer through song.

• Servers - assisting at the altar – (girls and boys Year 4 and older)

• Sacristans – helping set up for Mass (6pm, 9am and 11am Masses), and cleaning up afterwards

• Cleaning St. Columba’s church (on a monthly roster, 3-4 times a year)

• Powerpoint operators – set up and operate the powerpoint displays

• Welcomers - that of welcoming mass-goers as they come into the church

New members are very warmly welcome.

We have a ministry roster with members usually allocated one weekend mass a month. Training and support is provided, so contact us now and get involved
