A Creed of Care

We believe that God created us all in his image,

making us unique and special in our own way,

called to live in community with one another.

We confirm that we are the presence of Jesus

called to serve each other with care, compassion and dignity.

We affirm that we are blessed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit

given so we may live among one another as Christ’s disciples.

We gather as the Body of Christ at the Eucharist table,

the source of the one who gave his life protecting the dignity

of all, and in his name,

we assert that it is our mission to provide a community

that is a safe haven for all to grow,

to flourish and to be protected,

from our youngest member to the oldest.

Amen.
