Sisterhood

Updated: Oct 29, 2020

On November 1st, the young women of our parish gathered again, joined by Fr John who gave an enlightening reflection on the gospel story of Martha and Mary.

Fr John helped us draw light on both the positive and negative qualities of Martha and Mary and how together they have potential to balance eachother out. "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another" Proverbs 27:17.

We shared our own experiences of the Martha and Mary in us all and the way in which we invite Jesus into our lives and recognise him in those around us.

As the two sisters have the capacity to help one another see things in a different way, together we too can learn and help each other encounter Jesus.

A special evening in many senses, and a great farewell to our sister Catalina, who returns home to Mexico. We pray for her safe journey home and many blessing for the future ahead!

Our final 'Full of Grace' evening for the year will be December 6th!
