Merry Christmas from our Young Adults

Updated: Oct 29, 2020

Last Sunday after mass, the Young Adults gathered for an afternoon tea Christmas party!

It was a great feast of home cooked and baked treats. We welcomed a new parishioner and visitor from Poland, joining as new and old friends. The Advent candles of Hope, Peace and Joy, were lit, however we carried the fourth candle of Love in our hearts, filled with the spirit of Christmas.

Though a more social event than our usual faith themed events, we still reflected on our crosses and blessings of the year, giving thanks for the journey this year has been.

Apologies to Millie and Francis who left earlier and missed the photo but thank you for the delicious samosas!! We purposely took a photo away from the table to hide how much we feasted. And what a day to feast!! A big congratulations to our sisters Allie and Alison who received the rite of Catechumenate!! We are so blessed to know you, how you inspire us! May you continue to seek the light of Christ on your journey to baptism.

A big Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to our friends, family and the whole world! Thanks be to God for His abundant gifts!
